Our school has indeed been established only in 2007, but due to the actual merging of two previously existing schools Arnstadt, we have decided, of course, are already engaged in years of under school partnerships further. "István Bocskai Gimnasium" in Hajdúböszörmény / Hungary

This partnership with the "István Bocskai 'High School was the first Comenius project" traditions and culture of our countries, Hungary, Lithuania and Germany "in the (then still Herder-Gymnasium) from 2000 to 2003.
Hajdúböszörmény located in the east of Hungary at the edge of the Puszta and is in a population comparable to Arnstadt. A special feature of the city has to offer a spa. Our partner school has been around since 1621st Currently 680 pupils are taught by 53 teachers in 26 classes. The school is a four-and eight-year high school, and students are coming with 10 years in the 5.Klasse or 14 years in the 9th grade. At our partner school to learn German as a foreign language, English, Russian, French and Latin. "Gymnasium am Stefan Berg" in Merzig / Saar

Merzig is a town in the Saarland between Saarbrücken and Trier. At the local "Gymnasium am Stefan Berg" are currently being taught 1050 students.
On November 9, 2003 was signed between our two schools, a school partnership for which the then Minister of Culture of Thuringia and Saarland took over the patronage.
In the case of reciprocal visits, the participants are always privately placed with their peers in order to better understand each other well. Cooperation in terms of school partnership takes place mostly while in the field of history with the respective specialized courses, but will be continuously expanded in the future.
An initial project undertaken in 2004 on the issue of June 17, 1953, submitted to the competition and awarded the 1st prize of the President. "SG Pantarijn Hetwagenings" in Wageningen, Netherlands

The school partnership with the Regional School Community Pantarijn "in Wageningen, now existed for almost twenty years. Resulted from a personal contact of two teachers from the turn of time it has developed a regular student exchange program. Every year, are now seeing about 50 pupils of both schools one week each with a colorful program of history, culture, education and sports in the other country.
Focus is on learning about a different culture and school life. Above all, the communication should (mainly be promoted in English) between the students and the social contacts among others in a foreign host family.
A special highlight for our students in each year, the trip to Amsterdam with a city tour, canal cruise and visit to the Anne Frank house.
Wageningen is located at Arnhem, and with a population slightly larger than ca.36 000 Arnstadt. Wageningen is known worldwide for its University of the "Agricultural and Life Sciences. Here, emphasis will be on the close link between study and research (in animal and plant breeding, conservation, nutrition, technology, etc.) used, so the city also bears the title "city of life sciences."

"Oberstufenrealgymnasium St. Ursula" in Gurk, Austria

Our partner school, the Oberstufenrealgymnasium "St.Ursula" in Gurk heard as to Expositur Oberstufenrealgymnasium "St.Ursula" in Klagenfurt, established in 1999. "Drammen videregående skole" in Drammen, Norway

Drammen is located about 40 km southwest of Oslo, it is the sixth largest city in Norway, it is adjacent to the Drammenfjord and has about 61,000 inhabitants.
A famous citizens of Drammen is the biathletes Ole Einar Bjørndalen.
The Drammen videregående skole "(equivalent of our secondary school) has maintained for 1995 - this year was the collaboration between the state of Thuringia and the Norwegian counties Buskerud and decided to Vest-Agder - a school with a regular partnership, mutual student and teacher exchanges.
In Thuringia, there are two partner schools. Firstly, it is the high school in Stadtroda, on the other hand, this was until its dissolution, the Neideck High School in Arnstadt.
