Study and career choice / skating project |
It is the responsibility of schools to make a contribution to basic education, training and study skills and to support the career choice. Career choice in this case means to qualify the career choices of students and support them in their decision making and implementation to support. Career choice is therefore an important part of the educational mission, which is implemented in close cooperation with parents and other external partners. The goal is that students know different pathways, are aware of what skills, abilities and interests they have that they know at the end of the school, which profession they learn or what course want to choose them and that their professional or Study selection and are able to justify informed about career alternatives.
The State School Arnstadt has developed in cooperation with the employment agency, companies in the region and the project of the University of Ilmenau SKATING a concept for study and career guidance that accompanies the students in grades 8-12 in their career choice.
