The situation of our school ....
Our school in Arnstadt currently consists of two buildings:
- part of the school in the beetle Strasse with all pupils from grades 5 to 10, and the students of Class 11S (lateral entrants to the 10th class of the regular school)
- part of the school at the Palace Square with the students of grade 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the center of the city
Part of the school at the Castle Square is centrally located and easily accessible location in the heart of Arnstadt - the building of the former Neideck Gymnasium. With listed buildings and adjacent to the castle and the Neideckruine and with large classrooms, wide hallways and an auditorium, it has a traditional flair.
The school part of the beetle Strasse offers a new school building in former East Germany since the restoration 2004-2006 for nearly 1,000 students plenty of room. The latest specialist cabinets, art and drama workshop spaces, meditation and religious facilities, internet access in each subject area, 2 computer rooms, media library, recreation rooms, Cafeteria, Construction and disabled lift, approximately 18,000 square meters yard with lots of greenery and lush trees and the proximity to a modern 3 fields and a stadium-Großsporthalle offer ideal conditions for learning, for the sport and for the breaks.
